We want you to be confident in SafeToOpen. This policy explains our free trials, our 7-day refund window, and how to request a refund or cancel.
Last updated: 31 May 2026. This policy applies to subscriptions to SafeToOpen Browser Security and SafeToOpen Email Security purchased through SafeToOpen.
Most SafeToOpen plans include a free trial so you can evaluate the product before being charged:
You won't be charged until your trial ends. You can cancel any time during the trial and you will not be billed.
If you're charged for a subscription and change your mind, you may request a full refund within 7 days of that charge. This applies to your first paid charge on a new subscription — for example, when a trial converts to paid, or when you start a paid plan directly.
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, within the 7-day window, and let us know which subscription you'd like refunded. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe); the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank, typically 5–10 business days.
You can cancel at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling on its own does not issue a refund for the current period — if you're within the 7-day window and want a refund, follow section 3 above.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, until cancelled. We send reminders before a subscription is due to renew or expire. Refunds for a renewal charge follow the same 7-day window described above.
We may decline a refund where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service. Per-seat business plans are refundable under the same 7-day window for the initial charge; contact us to discuss seat changes on an existing plan.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or region. Where local law grants you a longer cancellation or refund right, that right applies.
