Education & nonprofit

Half price, because your budget already has enough on it

Scammers do not go easy on schools, libraries and charities — if anything they go harder, because they know the IT budget is thin. So every annual SafeToOpen plan is 50% off for education and registered nonprofits.

Applies to annual plans. Monthly plans stay at the standard rate.

Who this is for

If your organisation runs on fees it does not charge or money it was given, it qualifies. The list below is not exhaustive — if you think you belong on it, say so in the form and we will look.

Eligible

  • Primary and secondary schools
  • Colleges, universities and polytechnics
  • Registered charities and nonprofits
  • Public libraries and community trusts
  • Teachers and students, on a personal plan
  • Student unions and staff associations

Not this offer — but talk to us anyway

  • Government departments and agencies — there is separate public-sector pricing
  • Commercial training providers and bootcamps
  • Businesses with a charitable arm — the charity itself can apply
  • Resellers buying on a customer's behalf — see reseller terms

None of these are a no. They are a different conversation, and the contact form is the place to start it.

Three steps, one working day

We check applications by hand at the moment. That is slower than a button, and it is also why there are no hoops: no purchase order, no procurement pack, no waiting on a third-party verification service to recognise your institution.

1

Tell us who you are

The form below takes about a minute. The only firm requirement is an email address on your organisation's own domain.

2

We check it

A person reads it, looks at your website or charity register listing, and approves it. Usually within one working day.

3

Use the code at checkout

We email you a discount code. Enter it on any annual plan and half the price comes off before you pay.

The 50% comes off every annual plan — Personal Plus, Family Plus and Business Plus on browser security, and Executive on email security. See what each one includes →

Apply for your code

One form. No account needed, and nothing happens to your card until you choose to buy.

Sent securely to our team and used only to check eligibility. We never sell your data — see our privacy promise.

Questions, answered

Because an annual plan is what makes a cut this deep affordable for us — one payment to process and one renewal to manage instead of twelve. Monthly plans are still there at the standard rate if a year up front does not suit your budget cycle.

Not through this form — it needs an address on your organisation's own domain, because that is the cheapest proof of eligibility for both of us. If your charity is small enough that it runs on a free mailbox, email [email protected] with a link to your listing on your country's charity register and we will sort it out by hand.

Yes, and it always will. The free plan blocks known phishing, scam and malware sites with no sign-up and no card. This offer is about the paid tiers — zero-day detection, Paste Guard and email security — for organisations that want the deeper cover but could not justify full price.

The code discounts whichever plan you buy, so it scales the way the plan does — from a single teacher on Personal Plus up to a whole staff list on Business Plus. If you are covering more than 25 people, put the number in the form and we will handle the billing side directly rather than making you buy seats one at a time.

It is a founding offer, so we are not promising it forever. What we will promise is that a code we have already issued keeps working — if the programme changes, it changes for new applications, not for organisations already on it.

Yes. The code takes 50% off whatever your local price is, in your own currency, so it works identically whether you are billed in euros, pounds, rupees, yen or anything else we support.
