SafeToOpen Online Security extension examines the content of websites you are browsing and may notify you with different ribbons.
The yellow ribbon indicates the website you are browsing is suspicious, and you need to take extra care if you are asked to enter your sensitive information. The red ribbon means the website you are visiting is a phishing, and you must not enter your information.
If you believe a particular warning message is shown by mistake, please report it to us using the "Report Mistake" button.
In the very rare situation where the extension didn't detect a phishing site, you can manually report it to us to protect others.
To report a website to us, please right-click anywhere on the page, click on the "Report to SafeToOpen" button, and then choose one of the options.
In your Outlook, click on get add-ins, and in the search bar type safetoopen and then click on Add. Please note that the add-in will be installed on any device that you have your account set up in Microsoft Outlook.
All you need to do to verify an email is to open the email and:
-> Outlook for Desktop: click on verify that has the SafeToOpen logo.
-> in iOS (iPad, iPhone) and Android: tap on ... and then choose SafeToOpen.
You will see the result of verifying all links in your email against known phishing sites in a few seconds.
SafeToOpen add-in checks all links in your email against previously known phishing sites. If you believe a link in your email seems suspicious, please tap/click on the eye icon on the right side of the link to perform a deep inspection and see the results. Please note that this feature is only available for corporate and premium accounts.
After you click on the eye icon next to a suspicious link to analyze, you can click on the bell icon to report the link to us.
