Step-by-step deployment SafeToOpen Portal (Virtual Machine) in for Amazon AWS.
An AWS account with the ability to create a VM.
In a browser, navigate to https://aws.amazon.com/ and log in with your account. Make sure you are in the right region. Click on Services and then choose EC2.
Click on the Launch Instance button.
Click on AWS Marketplace, type 'safetoopen', and hit enter or search. Then click on Select to proceed.
Click on Continue.
Please choose the proper type for your instance and then click on Review and Launch. Please note that the minimum requirement for SafeToOpen VM is t2.micro. Please do NOT choose t2.nano.
Click on Launch and a pop-up window will appear.Select an existing key pair or create a new key pair, and click on the Launch Instances button. It takes about a minute till your SafeToOpen instance has set up and ready to use. Click on Services, then EC2, and Click on Running instances.
Copy and paste either of the Public DNS (IPV4) or IPV4 Public IP value to a new browser tab and hit Enter.
Click on the Advanced button and then click on Proceed to... link.
You will need to create an account to access this instance. Please note that the account information is stored on this instance and not on our servers. Please store the password in a safe place. Enter your organization's information, read and accept our privacy terms, and hit Next.
Confirm your corporate/business/organization's domain name and click on the Confirm button.
You can choose to create a subdomain for your organization with SafeToOpen to easier access your SafeToOpen portal. If you choose to create a subdomain, please wait for a few minutes before using it. Then you can access your instance using https://yourcorporate.safetoopen.io. Please note that this step is optional.
