Step-by-step adding multiple domains in SafeToOpen Portal.

This feature is best used for corporates that have multiple domain names or Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with multiple customers.

Requirements:

  • A SafeToOpen Portal  or Virtual Machine (Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS).
  • Ability to add a CNAME record in the DNS server. This is used to validate the ownership of the domain you wish to add to the SafeToOpen Portal.

Step 1:

Log in to your SafeToOpen Portal. Click on your name, and then Settings.

Step 2:

Click on Add a Domain.

Step 3:

Enter the domain name you want to add to this portal and click on the Submit button.

Step 4:

Use the given values in Name and Target fields to create a CNAME record in your DNS service provider. Please choose the minimum TTL for the CNAME record.
- If the DNS hosting is GoDaddy, please follow this link.
- If the DNS hosting is CloudFlare, please follow this link.
Then click on the Validate button.

Step 5:

Enter the legal name of the organization you wish to add to your SafeToOpen instance. Then click on either of the following buttons:
- SafeToOpen Default Policies (uses SafeToOpen default settings for the browser extension and Outlook add-in)
- This Instance's Policies (uses your current settings for the browser extension and Outlook add-in)

Step 6:

The domain has been added.
